It is no surprise, Twitter made it clear that they were going to do away with all the sites that offered an auto follow twitter service. The fact is that they have no way of truly getting rid of every site that offers such a service. So what twitter has done is changed their TOS and is now only allowing websites that offer twitter following managment tools who abide by these new TOS terms to use the Twitter Oauth service. This means that if a site wants to use the twitter login authentication process for its users they have to abide by the twitter Terms Of Service.

For some sites, they will simply continue to offer the same auto-follow service that they always have, but for the users of this service, you will have to have a new login and then store your twitter credentials on their website for future use. This is looked at as a security risk to many, however most of the early twitter services all operated on this basis. This is a change that needed to come very soon, as more and more users were using services to make their accounts look more popular than they actually were. The twitter autofollow also lead to many spam accounts that took away from the value of the whole site and Twitters integrity.

You will notice at many of the most popular services that used to offer an auto follow service, that these features have been removed altogether or now you must single click on every user you wish to follow. These services are still very valid and useful for those who wish to grow their twitter account. Most of these twitter services allow you to search for people in ways that you cannot within the Twitter website. This alone can be worth using these third party twitter services to make sure that you find new and relevant tweeps to follow. If you are working a marketing system using twitter, finding people that have similar interests to your topic or niche is a must, so these services can offer Internet marketers a lot of value in this field.

So moving forward without auto-follow on twitter may seem like a drag to some, but it is what it is. Now, moving forward some may have to change their mass follow strategy or simply do it the old fashioned way, one click at a time!

Get Paid For Using Twitter

Hello Fellow Twitter Users!

Nick Simpson here, I know that there is one thing that all twitter users want and that is “More Followers!” There have been many auto follow services pop up in the last few months and it is rummered that twitter is to do away with auto-follow in the near future. I think that this is a great idea, because most of these so called “viral autofollow” services are bunch of crap any way. They let everybody that is part of the system follow each other and nobody pays any attention to each others tweets, thus defeating the purpose of having a large following in the first place.

What is Auto Follow?

For those of you who are new to twitter, autofollow is a method of obtaining new followers automatically, either by using a twitter api or a website that is setup to match up twitter users by forcing one to follow another. There are a few different ways these systems actually function, the problem with most, is that they do not give you the option to follow folks of similar interest, so you usually end up with thousands of followers who could care less about what your twitter messages are, but you have a lot of followers!

Targeted Auto Following On Twitter

Targeted auto following is what most people are really looking to do with their twitter account, but most people do not know how to do this automatically, so I have put together a list below to help out. There are some sites that I really do approve of the auto-follow methods that they use and they are as follows:

1. Twollo

2. Twollow

3. Twellow

The Organic Twitter Auto Follow Method – By Nick Simpson

So you want the best of both worlds huh. You want to automate the growth of your twitter account and at the same time you want to have some laser like targeting to only attract followers that are actually interested in what you share and are interested in the same topics or niche that you work with. Well, here it is the “Organic Twitter Auto Follow Method” and it’s pretty sweet!

It will take a little time to setup and run, however this methodology will produce a very refined and reputable group of followers for you no matter what niche or field you are in.

Step 1

To start off with you need to know who you are looking for, so much like an seo project, you need to get keywords ready that are interesting to folks that you want to follow.

Step 2

Get a Free Twitter Video Page setup with a welcome message saying, hello, this is what I am about, follow me if you are interested. Make sure to tell everyone at the end of the video to “click the red X at the top of the page and then they can use the follow button on the left” in your message.

Step 3

Now, you can either start passing this link out on all your social networks and start getting response, or you can even add a link to this page on your own website, but if you want to automate this process, this is what I do.

Setup your twitter video welcome page on a few traffic exchanges!

Here are my personal top 3 as far as results go:

1. Traffic Swarm – Guys this is simply the best out there, hands down.

2. Easy Hits 4 U – This traffic exchange is one of the fastest growing out there and I have received many new followers from here.

3. Traffic G – We have had more response in the last 2 months from this traffic program than any other that we participate in.

Now all you need to do is add your twitter video page here and spend 5-10 minutes a day and you will be very surprised with the results, I promise!

Is it totally automatic, not really, but does it produce a vast following of hungry information seekers in any industry, YES!

The biggest difference in the results you will see from using this method, exspecially if you have more than one account, is that you will not be following the same people everywhere, the folks that are now following you “will respond” to your twitter messages and best of all your account will not be seen as spam.

I hope you grow a huge twitter following and enjoy the power of twitter marketing and profits!

To Success,

Nick Simpson
